DEAL OVERVIEW
TENEX.AI closed
its $250 million Series B led by Crosspoint Capital Partners on March 31, 2026.
The round — 9x the size of its $27M Series A from September 2025 — catapults
TENEX past the $1 billion unicorn threshold in under 18 months from founding,
one of the fastest unicorn ascents in cybersecurity history. The capital will
fund global expansion (Europe, Middle East, Africa entry), scaling the human
expert team behind the AI platform, and building out the physical headquarters
in Sarasota (currently under construction at 2407 Bee Ridge Road).
TENEX's core
product insight is a structural market fix: the MDR industry has historically
been unable to scale because defenders scale with human headcount while
attackers scale with automation. TENEX reverses this equation by using AI
agents to handle 100% of alert volume at machine speed, with human analysts
making every final decision — delivering outcomes that are both faster and more
reliable than traditional MDR services. The platform covers 100% of customer
alert telemetry (versus an industry norm of ~10%), reduces false positives by
>95%, and responds to verified threats in under one minute.
"Everyone else is bolting AI onto the same services and platforms
that have been failing enterprises for years. We started over — the only AI SOC
company led by operators who've done this before, with founding engineers from
the hyperscalers and leading AI labs."
— Eric Foster,
